Detachable handle rods allow for a one-piece blank, eliminating dead spots or unwanted extra weight in the middle of the blank due to joints. Detachable handle provides maximum performance in line with Aava’s principles. On the other hand, detachable handle enables practical transport and storage lengths.

All Aava rods are designed to meet perfect balance by individually customized blank and handle lengths. To achieve the actual balance, we give recommended reel size and weight for every Aava rod.

We have carefully considered and designed quantity, size and quality of the rod guides for each Aava rod series based on its intended use.

As a result of extensive testing, we have opted for high-quality EVA handles because they provide what the Aava brand promises: absolute performance. EVA handle material stands in a class of its own in terms of durability, lightness, and feel.

Aava rods are equipped with customized hook keepers and scratch-resistant rubber coating in the section of the blank where the hook keepers are located.

Every Aava rod is sold in customized rod sock.

Aava rods are delivered in sturdy, pre-sized tubes, allowing retailers to store and, if necessary, ship the rods to consumers in the same tubes.
